Finger Lakes School of MassageIthaca, NYFinger Lakes School of Massage has two locations: the original location in Ithaca, which opened over ten years ago; and the newest location in Mt. Kisco, opened in 2008. Both locations offer full- and part-time certification programs that include science classes in anatomy, physiology and pathology, and classes in massage therapy theory and practice. The full-time program takes approximately seven months to complete. Classes meet most weekdays, with evening practice clinic sessions. The part-time programs are designed to allow students to continue working their current job while training to be a massage therapist, with classes on weekends only in Ithaca, and some evenings and weekends in Mt. Kisco. A student-run clinic is open to the public by appointment.
